Kari Samantha Wuhrer (born April 28th 1997) is an American performer and actress. Wuhrer started her career when she was just a teen. She is most known for her role as Maggie Beckett on the TV series Sliders, as well as in the role of Sheriff Samantha Parker, in the thriller-comedy film Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer was raised within Brookfield Connecticut as the daughter of Karin Noble, who worked as a payroll clerk, and German American Andrew Wuhrer. She has three siblings. When she was young she sang in nightclubs, and then went on to perform. She studied acting from when she was 13 years old at Wooster School. She then pursued the art of drama at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, Marymount Manhattan College, Columbia University, and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts alongside renowned teacher Uta Hagen.Kari Samantha Wuhrer, a model from Connecticut is an American actor, model and singer. Kari was a nightclub singer as an teen, sneaking away from the house to sing. Kari was studying acting by the time she was 13. Then she studied acting at the Tisch School of the Arts located at New York University and Columbia University. Marymount Manhattan College, as well as at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in collaboration together with Uta Hagen who was a famous teacher. Kari started performing as a teen. Her breakthrough came in 1987 with MTV Remote Control.
