Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez an American/Cuban TV arbitrator with Caso Cerrado, is the anchor of Ana Polo Rules. Ana was born in Havana Cuba with her mother and father when she was 2 years old, relocated to Miami and joined the family. In Habana, Cuba, Ana Maria Polo is the host of the prestigious Telemundo show "Caso Cerrado" which was the first Spanish show to be nominated the Daytime Emmy(r) Award. The show in 2015 ranked as the top Spanish-language show at 4pm across important demos. Polo was born in Havana in 1959. Following her graduation at Florida International University's political science program, she moved to Havana and lived there for the next 20 years. Then she obtained the PhD in law from the University of Miami and practiced law for over 20 years in the city of Miami. After earning her PhD from the University of Miami in law and working in the law profession in Miami city for 20 years. Polo was the first to make an appearance on the screen in 2001 when she was part of Telemundo's Sala de Parejas. Her legal skills were also used to produce other court programs. Literature Works and Accolades Her novel from 1958 Los Hijos Muertos won her both the Critic Prize and Spanish National Prize for Literature. Ana Maria Matute arrived in the United States of America from Spain around 1960. Polo, who is also an inpatient with breast cancer and a survivor of the disease, frequently speaks out about her cause. Over the course of her career, she has fought in the fight for LGBT equality. She is in the Florida Bar since 1987. She graduated from law from the University of Miami School of Law.
