Andrea Elson
Andrea Hope Elson, an American actress and model who is now a retired actor. Elson started her career as an actor when she was a child, and later as model. Her most well-known role is for her role as Alice Tyler in the CBS Science-fiction television series. Andrea applied for and was awarded the role as Lynn Tanner of the ALF popular program (1986). Andrea continued working for many years on various successful TV shows and Movies of the Week before going into the entertainment field to concentrate on her family. Andrea Elson's role as Lynn Tanner, Willie and Kate Tanner's teen daughter was a difficult one for her. People magazine published an account of her career in the year 2000. Elson commented that being a teenager with a spotlight wasn't an easy task. When she was in New York City in 1969 Elson was raised in a world of travel as her father was a traveling salesman. For the 10 years prior to her 10th birthday, she lived in New York Chicago San Diego Los Angeles. Andrea had her first successful audition San Diego after she got an agent. Fusco agreed with the notion by saying, "ALF can drink beer since he's older than 285." However as ALF was more well-known among children NBC informed Fusco it was not appropriate to have him drinking when the children who are watching because it's not a great role model. Fusco believes that ALF had the maturity to not drink and drive wasn't right. In 1995, he was found to be suffering from cancerous lymphoma. The cancer was treated successfully and he was in complete remission for the rest of his existence. The illness took his life on 26 June 2019, when he had been 75. His funeral was held at the Lillian Booth Actors Home, Englewood NJ.
